Administration Assistant

We are seeking candidates for the position of Administration Assistant to join our team. Due to our ongoing growth, we are now seeking a self-motivated individual to join our small team to carry out administration duties and office support.

As a small practice, we offer huge growth potential as you will be working on a wide variety of tasks. Below is a guideline of duties for the successful candidate:

  • General office administration duties, including attending to enquiries, scheduling, greeting clients and providing for their needs.
  • Internal and external correspondence; phones and emails
  • Preparation and follow-up on design proposals
  • New project set up, including arranging site visits with staff and clients
  • General support to design team and director
  • Ordering office supplies and making business purchases
  • Overseeing upkeep of office

The right candidate must have:

  • Experience in a similar role
  • Strong attention to detail and focus on accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Good sense of initiative with the ability to work autonomously and part of a team
  • Easy-going nature and a willingness to learn
  • Ability to professionally represent our brand
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Intermediate computer skills (MS Excel, Word, Outlook, Adobe Photoshop and InDesign knowledge is a plus)

Casual hourly rate will be paid at $28 - $32 an hour (plus super) depending on experience.

The role will be based in our design studio in Hawthorn. The role will be 15-20 hours per week. The days and hours of attendance are flexible but must fall between 10am – 5pm from Monday to Friday. There may be an opportunity for increased hours as the role evolves, and the business continues to grow.
