With a desire to have an entertaining area that was better connected to the house, and the addition of a pool, our Celia garden project transformed a tired and under used back garden into a functional, but beautiful garden that is full of beautiful textures.
The garden features an entertaining area that has a cantilevered pergola that will provide dappled light through once the climber has grown. Steps flow down and connect the entertaining area to the pool that features off-form concrete coping that follows the soft curves of the pool edge. Further down steps is an open lawn that has an evergreen hedge surrounding to provide screening from neighbouring houses.
The front garden was also given a facelift and we focused on bringing interest in the shapes of the shrubs and the various flowers and foliage textures. Existing Buxus hedging was transplanted into beautiful, soft curved hedges giving visual interest to the space and allowing surrounding plants to change through the seasons.
